Germany Blog: End of Day 4

Well it's still been a whirlwind of a trip, hopping from one city to the next, but tomorrow we'll be in Nuremberg where we'll stay a few nights again.

Things I've liked today:
Bacharach
The ICE Train
The gardens at the Residenz
The apologies that the Deutsche Bahn gives for any even slight delay

Things I learned not to like today:
The steps to and from the Bacharach Hostel
The slow and delayed trains that stop in Bacharach
The lack of a train information office in Bacharach
Delayed trains

[begin rant]
I find it also a little amazing that in Germany, trams/street cars don't honk their horns everywhere. The drivers just slow down and let the pedestrians or cars go and then continue. Many things would be more pleasant in the US if we didn't have such a litigious society. If you get hit by a train here, it's your fault. If you get hit by a train in the US, somehow you were wronged and deserve lots of money (or rather, your family does because you were too stupid and walked out in front of a train). [end rant]
